GoMy eyelids are welded open my heart is pumping fast. My whole body, it is working for the dream. Working too hard, actually. I am sweating. My neurons are firing. I am not fast enough. Flowers have other wishes, I think.
To be thought of as intelligent and funny.
To be stared at with closed eyes and still be called absolutely beautiful.
For someone to listen for hours as they go on and on about spirituality and what it means to be a flower.
Flowers wish they had feet. So they could walk away when someone is smelling them too intensely.
But they are stuck until they rot.
